Helping Children Smile Charity Shop

 

Helping Children Smile is a volunteer organization based in Australia, that raise money to travel to the Philippines each year, to undertake cleft lip and palate surgery on children in rural areas . After a suggestion from one of these recipients, it was decided that the organisation open a charity Boutique to help raise the much needed funds. The Helping Children Smile Charity Boutique was opened in August 2002 and is located at 33 Howard St. Nambour, Queensland. The Boutique retails affordable but good quality second-hand clothing and accessories along with bric-a-brac, jewelery and books. At a later date a second shop was opened called the Bargain Barn, and is situated at 33 Howard St. Nambour. The Bargain Barn retails bargain priced second-hand clothing, with most of the clothing $1 or less, some furniture, bric-a-brac, kitchen items, manchester, books, gifts, and some fancy dress items. All donations of these items will be gratefully received.

Our window displays are a must see at Christmas and Easter, and put together by our shop manager and staff. We also accommodate events such as Australia Day, Valentines Day, Anzac Day, Mothers and Fathers Day etc - you name it , we do it!. These window displays have been entered into the local Council competitions and have always managed to win prizes.
